About This Game

Game Overview
Pokémon Stadium arrived on the Nintendo 64 in 2000, developed and published by Nintendo. It was a game many of us had been waiting for, a chance to see our pocket monsters rendered in 3D on a home console, a significant step up from the pixelated sprites on the Game Boy.You don't control a trainer in the field; instead, you manage a team of six Pokémon, selecting which three will enter each battle. The main objective is to defeat your opponent's team through turn-based combat, using a deep library of moves with type advantages and status effects. Signature mechanics include the ability to import your own Pokémon from the Game Boy games via the Transfer Pak, and the challenging Gym Leader Castle mode, which pits you against increasingly difficult AI opponents. The pacing is deliberate, requiring strategic planning rather than quick reflexes. It feels like finally watching your carefully trained team come to life in a proper arena.
