Game Overview
South Park on the Nintendo 64 came out in 1998, published by Acclaim Entertainment. It was one of those licensed games that tried to capture the show's humor during a time when the N64 library was full of platformers and adventures. The game didn't take itself seriously, and it felt like a direct extension of the TV series, for better or worse.You control one of the four main kids, like Cartman or Stan, and run through levels based on locations from the show. The main goal is to defeat an alien invasion by fighting through waves of enemies, using snowballs as your primary weapon. You also collect Chinpokomon dolls and avoid hazards like cow attacks and toxic farts. The pacing is fast and a bit repetitive, with some frustrating difficulty spikes in later stages. Playing it feels like being thrown into a rowdy, low-budget episode where chaos is the point.
