Mortal Kombat 3 - Ultimate came out on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1995, developed by Midway. It was one of the last major fighting games on the console before the shift to newer hardware, and it pushed the SNES to its limits with faster action and more characters than earlier entries.You control a fighter from a large roster, each with unique special moves and fatalities. The main goal is to defeat opponents in one-on-one combat across several rounds, either in the arcade ladder or against a friend. Signature mechanics include combo attacks that let you chain hits together, and the new run button which adds speed and pressure to matches. The pacing is intense, and the computer can be brutally cheap on higher difficulties. It feels responsive and aggressive, especially when you land a well-timed super move to end a close match.
