Super Mario World came out in 1990 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, developed and published by Nintendo. It was one of the system's earliest and most defining titles, setting a high bar for what the new hardware could do with its colorful, scrolling worlds and smooth controls.You control Mario, or Luigi if a second player joins, moving through levels screen by screen, jumping on enemies, breaking blocks, and collecting power-ups like the feather that grants a cape for gliding.
